Volume Key: Floating Buttons ("the app") is developed by FightTech. This policy explains what the app does with your data.

Permissions

The app asks only for what its features need:

• Display over other apps — to draw the floating volume buttons on top of other apps.
• Notifications (Android 13+) — for the control notification with −, + and Show/Hide. The buttons keep working if you decline.
• Do Not Disturb access — asked only when you choose Silent, because Android treats Silent as a Do Not Disturb change. Sound and Vibrate never need it.
• Run at startup — to bring the buttons back after a reboot. It can be switched off.
• Vibrate — for a short buzz when you press a button. It can be switched off.
• Internet — for ads (AdMob), Google Play purchases, and anonymous crash reports and usage statistics (Firebase).

Data stored on your device

Where the buttons sit, how they look and your settings are kept only on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.

Analytics and crash reporting

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand aggregate usage (for example which screens and features are used) and to fix crashes. These services collect device information such as model, OS version, coarse app-usage events and crash stack traces. This data does not include your screen content, what you type or what you listen to, and is processed under Google's Privacy Policy.

Advertising

The free version of the app may show ads served by Google AdMob and Unity Ads. To request and measure an ad, these networks receive your device's advertising ID, IP address and basic device information (model, OS version, country, language). This is declared on the app's Google Play Data safety page. Their handling of that data is governed by Google's advertising policies and the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before any ad is requested, and your choice is respected on every later launch.

Removing ads: buying any Premium plan (monthly, yearly or lifetime) turns ads off completely. Purchases are processed by Google Play; we never see your payment details.

What we do not do

• No account, no sign-up, no personal profile.
• We never sell your personal data, and we never send your screen content, what you type or what you listen to anywhere.
• Apart from the advertising and analytics identifiers described above, no data is shared with third parties.

Children

The app is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13.
